We would like to share with you the work behind ICanLocalize.
You may wonder at times why we take 20% commission from translators’ jobs and whether it’s fair.
I used to be a translator at ICanLocalize myself before getting a job in Support and Marketing so I can imagine why you sometimes question this. So I thought it would be a good idea that you all know the work behind ICanLocalize – personally I was not aware of this when I was only working here as translator.
There is really hard work behind your computer screen. If what we do was not done you would feel the impact immediately. Efforts bear fruits, and ICanLocalize is officially recommended as apps translator by Apple: https://developer.apple.com/internationalization/#vendors
Many translators struggle to get paid for their work with other agencies, or need to wait months to get paid – here payments are immediate – made at the moment of delivery or within a maximum of only 7 days for bidding projects.
We get our clients, we provide all the tools the tools, we guarantee the payment – at ICanLocalize our translators only need to concentrate on translating the contents. We are a team of people working full-time. This allows us to:
- Provide support about 16 hours a day – both translators & clients get a reply to every ticket they open.
- Offer technical assistance to WPML clients translating WordPress websites with us.
- Offer localization into over 30 languages, so the level of support needed is high – thousands of users at ICanLocalize, both translators and clients.
- Discuss and develop marketing strategies.
- Make calls asking for feedback and featuring apps and websites on our website.
- Do development activities and fix bugs on our platform.
