My name is Henriette and I have worked as a translator since 2009, my goal is to always deliver a translation that you, as a client is satisfied with.
I have worked within a broad field of areas, translating marketing books/material, contracts, apps, documents, gaming text, websites, manuals etc.

Educational background:
BA in English MA in History with Social Science from Aarhus University, Denmark
MA, MPhil, PhD degrees from US universities in Modern Eur. and American History
License for advanced teaching of English Lit. and Language as well as History
Extensive experience as a teacher of English, Danish, History and Social Science
Many years experience as a writer and translator

The combination of my MA in International Development and Cultural & Lingual Encounters with my certification as professional translator, and my 11 years of experience as freelance translator and EU-linguist, has given me an all-round understanding of language and language use which adds value and quality to my translation work.

20 years of experience translating and localizing from English to Danish.
Primarily IT and software, apps, web sites, Help and documentation, UI, etc.

I adhere to deadlines and deliver quality translations - every time.

I have been working as a full-time freelance translator since 1998, mostly translating from English and the other Scandinavian languages into Danish. I have specialized in technical texts, including but not limited to IT, automotive, industrial machinery, agricultural machinery, software/hardware localization.
